- Start button: Reset all GPU data and resend your scene. All buttons are inactive(include Start button-grayed) until new render sessions start. So that’s not a toggle button.
- Restart button: It just restart render from zero maxsamples. As it does that when you change somethings.
- Pause/resume button: Pause or resume current render without delete any gpu data.
- Reset Button: It stops and clear all gpu data. This is fine for freeing the gpu memory without closing LV. At this perspective, “Stop” button can be seen as unnecessary.

Fig 3.1: You can enable AI Denoising in Octane Settings > Camera Imager > Denoiser tab.
Fig 3.2: You can also enable AI Denoising in the Attribute Window of the Octane Camera tag, if the Camera Imager node is enabled in the specific Octane Camera tag of the active camera.
Fig 3.3: To save the denoised beauty pass in Picture Viewer, or any other pass, go to Render Settings > OctaneRender > Render Passes > Denoised passes and enable the Denoised Beauty option.
