As you are using RNDR, we wanted to share some basic security tips to keep you safe. If you ever have any questions, please reach to the support team at support@rendertoken,com.
- It is important that you never share your Private Key information with anyone claiming to be RNDR, as there is no reason that Private Key information should ever be shared, even with the RNDR team or a support agent. Public addresses are the only form of information that should ever be shared.
- Please only refer to official announcements from the RNDR Team, which you can find on Twitter or Medium or by emailing our team. On Twitter, scam accounts often mimic the account name and photo, but have a fake handle, so please verify first that the information is coming from @rendertoken.
- Use Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for sensitive accounts, and applications like Authenticator are recommended over text or phone based authentication - to avoid sim-swapping attacks.
- Coinbase has prepared useful resources for avoiding Cryptocurrency scams which we recommend consulting for more security information.
