Forum Access Levels
Access to the forum is grouped into three different tiers of users.
- Tier 1 is an unregistered user. As an unregistered user you will not be able to post but you will still be able to look through most sections of the forum without issue.
- Tier 2 is a registered user. At this tier, you will be able to post on the forums and start contributing to the community. To become a registered user, we recommend signing up for an OTOY account which will automatically generate a forum account for you. Using this method, your forum account username will be the same as your OTOY account username.
- Tier 3 is a user who is a registered license owner. This tier has access to Octane Licensed Customer Forums as well as download links for all OctaneRender software. Please bare in mind that Customer forums are only accessible by logging into the forum and you need to log into your OTOY account to download OctaneRender software.
